The Uncommon South | Luxury American Mahjong Tiles
A little wild. A little refined. Entirely uncommon.
Where Southern tradition meets unexpected artistry, The Uncommon South is a celebration of the beauty, character, and playful spirit of the South.
An original creation by Bee R Designs, this luxury American Mahjong tile set reimagines the traditional game through hand-designed illustrations inspired by Southern wildlife, lush botanicals, delicate pearls, and the untamed elegance of the region.
From the intricate details of the suits to eight individually illustrated tiger Jokers, every element tells a story. Rich color, thoughtful composition, and whimsical details create a collection that feels both timeless and delightfully unexpected.
Crafted as 160 three-layer acrylic Mahjong tiles, the set features beautifully embossed faces, a luminous pearl-ivory finish, and sophisticated layers of aqua and pearlescent aubergine. Each detail is thoughtfully considered to create a set as beautiful to display as it is to play.
Designed to coordinate effortlessly with The Uncommon South Mahjong Mat Collection, these tiles bring a distinctive sense of artistry to game night—whether gathered around the table with lifelong friends or beginning a new Mahjong tradition.
